Jaipur: The pink city, as it is called, Jaipur is full of palaces and fortresses that fight for space! Jaipur is part of the Golden Triangle, along with Delhi and Agra. Major attractions include Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, Jal Mahal and City Palace, among others. The iconic structure of Jaipur is the Hawa Mahal, a palace built in pink sandstone, and one of the most photographed buildings in India.

Udaipur: the resplendent water of Lake Pichola is the perfect setting for this city of palaces, fortresses and temples. The Aravalli hills provide the perfect green environment for blue lakes. Then there are the palaces: the Lake Palace, the City Palace, the Jag Mandir Palace and the Monzón Palace are just some examples. Thanks to the many lakes, Udaipur is called the Venice of the East. Apart from Lake Pichola, there are Udai Sagar, Swaroop Sagar, Rajsamand and Jaisamand, and Fateh Sagar to explore.

Jaisalmer: Jaisalmer, the Golden City, is a city of fortresses and mansions, and is located in the Thar desert. The 12th-century city is ideal if you want to experience the great Thar desert. Visit the city in January-February and you will arrive in time for the desert festival. The festival is an exhibition of local culture and heritage, and you can see camel shows, music and dance programs. You can also visit the many mansions, palaces and lakes of the city.

Pushkar: a city in the Ajmer district, Pushkar is famous for its mela or fair. The city, located near Pushkar Lake, hosts the annual mela in November. Hordes of tourists from all over the world crowd the mela. Camels are bought and sold during the fair. Pushkar's claim of fame is more the Brahma Temple, where there is a life-size idol of Brahma, the creator of the universe, according to Hindu mythology.

Jodhpur: If Jaipur is the Pink City, Jodhpur is the Blue City, with several blue houses. There are bazaars, fortresses and temples in the city, enough to keep you busy all day! There is a great Mehrangarh fortress to explore: you will discover that it is spectacular, a true architectural wonder. There is also an interesting museum inside the fort.
